Sixth Annual Pet Photo Contest Begins June 12th. and ends July 24th. with prizes awarded on Saturday, July 27th., 10 A,M, at Collectors Gallery & Framery. Submit your favorite pet photo doing what he or she does best with a brief description. The Winner in number of votes will be framed by Collectors; Gallery & Framery, Second Place wins a PAWCASSO* session at Still Point Studio and the Third Place receives a gift certificate from PawPrint Essentials. Bring your photo submission to Collectors’ Gallery & Framery at 114 Nokomis Ave in Downtown Venice or submit your entry to islandframer@daystar.net with “Raining Cats & Dogs” in the subject line. Please send your photo in .gif or .jpeg files only. By submitting your photo, you will be giving us permission to publish and hang in the window for all to see. Photos may be picked up after July 27th., by stopping by the gallery. Entry is FREE. Voting is a 10 cent donation to the Humane Society. - Sophie as a 7.5 week old American Eskimo pup was covered in fleas. They were almost bigger than she was! Sophie looked at me as if to say help me. Now she is 7 months old, intelligent, loving and a joy to have around. We rescued her, but her love rescued us as well!
